You are Teflon

You Are Teflon

You are Teflon

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. — Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

Although Isaiah seems to be stretching things, we need to look at the intent behind these words. The message is, with Christ you can do anything. Through him you are invincible. With his presence by your side, with him going before you to prepare the way, you are Teflon. Nothing will stick to you, and if by some chance it does, just give it to the Lord.

It means you can get through everything the world throws at you. How? Give every issue to the Lord. No, I don’t mean agonize over it and then throw your hands up and then say, God I can’t. You do it.
I mean, when you come up against anything that is beyond your capacity, beyond the strength you have at the moment, or whatever else, just say, “Lord help me. I cannot do this on my own, but with you all things are possible.” (Matt 19:26) Then get on with the task and see what happens.

Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Jesus Bible)
